Purchasing of our Products:

Products can be purchased either via email and BACS payment, via a card payment over the telephone or through our web shop. All prices listed on our are excluding VAT. The VAT rate is 20.00%.

Delivery of Good Policy:

We aim to deliver all orders to UK mainland addresses within 7-10 working days from receipt of order; however, certain products may be on an extended delivery period. We will always advise you of this and await your acceptance before proceeding with your order. We will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver your goods within the time stated but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If you do not receive your goods within the stated delivery period please contact us immediately by e-mail or telephone.

Delivery costs and lead times to countries outside mainland UK may vary; we will always discuss this with you before placing an order and during after sale.

The cost of delivery is £15 flat rate for in-stock products. We will contact you if there is any changes to the cost of delivery. If the product is coming direct from the manufacturer, the delivery cost and lead times may vary.

*NOTE: If the pump needs to be fitted with cable, the delivery cost may be higher depending on the length and subsequent weight of the cable; we will always discuss any additional cost with you.

Delivery is variable on weight, therefore if you place an order for a large pump, have a special order or the products need to be transported via a pallet, delivery cost will be higher. We will always discuss delivery costs with you before you purchase. On receipt of the goods please inspect carefully for damage and advise the carrier’s driver accordingly.

If you are unable to fully inspect the goods for whatever reason, please sign the consignment note as “unexamined”. Should you sign the consignment note as “received in good condition”, you may be liable for any damages.

Any damages should be advised via e-mail to us within 24 hours of receipt to avoid additional charges. Standard UK Delivery charges are identified by product.

Please call +44 (0) 01769 575990 for Emergency Delivery prices. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, UK Islands and Scottish Highlands may attract an additional delivery charge, but we will always seek your approval of this before processing your order.

Deliveries outside the UK will be subject to additional charges, which we will confirm before processing your order. There may also be delays whilst we arrange suitable shipment. Customers should note that they will be responsible for all import duties and taxes.

Refunds Policy

If you send your item back to us, we will process the returned item, then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within three weeks of our receiving your return.

HOW REFUNDS ARE CALCULATED

Items returned because they are damaged, defective or incorrect If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and we will reimburse your costs in returning it to us. Items returned within the seven-day cooling-off period By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered.

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:

a) where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we will refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred;

b) where you are returning an entire order, we will refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred;

c) we will refund only standard (airmail) postage charges for items delivered outside the UK.

Unauthorised use of Credit Cards

We have a strict policy of investigating all attempts at ordering from our website by unauthorised persons using stolen credit card numbers. All suspicious orders will be investigated by sophisticated means and if necessary the information will be passed to the relevant government agencies in both this country and the countries involved. We reserve the right to validate all orders and restrict shipping as and when we choose.

All prices are displayed in GBP (Great Britain Pound). All items sold are subject to availability. All offers are subject to stock availability. We will of course notify you immediately if we have run out of any goods you have ordered. We do operate a ‘back-order’ system, and should a part be out of stock, we will advise you with an expected delivery date. Back-orders will automatically be despatched as soon as fresh stocks are available. Please advise us if this will not be satisfactory. Product availability is subject to change without notice.

Guarantees

SCL Water strives to provide 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with the goods you have bought please return them to us within 30 days of delivery. See refunds policy for further information.

Warranty

All mechanical parts sold by SCL Water are covered by a full 12 month warranty from the date of despatch. This warranty is limited to the value of the part, and does not include fitting costs or failure of related components. In the event of a complaint, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can remedy the situation speedily.

All product descriptions are given in good faith.

Damaged Goods

All goods are carefully packaged before despatch. However, accidents do happen. If your order is damaged on delivery, please contact us immediately. Any claim for goods damaged in transit MUST be made within 48 hours of delivery. Please keep all packaging for inspection at the delivery address.

Return Procedures of faulty goods

Application of VAT

All prices shown are exclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) unless otherwise stated. Orders sent to counties outside the EU are VAT free. Please note on International shipments that the recipient is responsible for any local import duties and taxes that may be charged.
